This weekend, I’ve been interviewing Sketch, the dazzling main character in Life in Your World. Read on for insights into her life.

A      Hi, Sketch. Thanks for joining me today. As you know, I’m writing a blog for my website, and readers of Life in Your World have sent in some questions for you.

S     Hi, Anj. It’s super fab to be here. I’m keen to experience all things human. Being interviewed for a blog is one of them. Matt used to have a blog, but I don’t think he’d want to interview me for it.

A     How come?

S     First off, his blog was anonymous, so I’m not supposed to know he has one, plus he might think I’d talk about sausages a lot.

A     And we all know you love sausages. Is that all sausages or do you have a favourite brand?

S     That’s a difficult one. They’re all great, but I love a Cumberland in a soft bread roll with butter and a dribble of ketchup. Sausages aren’t good for your body, but they make me smile, and that’s very important. In fact, I had one for breakfast. What more can I say? Except for maybe hashtag #sausagelove

A     Now you’re making me hungry! Onto our reader questions. The first one comes from Hayley. Who is your favourite out of Begw and Trevor and why?

S     Oh, you can’t ask me that! Both of them have taught me so much. But, if I had to choose…this is hard…I’d pick Trevor. He doesn’t send memos or steal bites of my sausage sarnies. But Begw is lovely. She has a perfectly straight fringe she calls a fronge – I think that’s a Welsh word cos she’s from Wales, North Wales that is.

A      We like them both too. The second question is from Jane. She wants to know if you plan to stay in London, now you’re stuck in our world or if you plan to travel elsewhere?

S     I’d love to travel. The human world is vast and beautiful. There’s so much to see but at the moment I’m concentrating on fixing the computer so that I can get back to the Core.

A     If you could go anywhere in the human world where would that be?

S     All your questions are so difficult to answer. There are two places I’d choose. First, I’d go to the pyramids in Egypt. It makes my mind spiral to think of the energies needed to build them.

A     And the second place?

S     India. When I was in the Core, I observed Jackie reading about it on the Internet, and it sounds fantastic. The colours, smells, sounds and all those people. Even if I had the time, I couldn’t go now cos I don’t have any money of my own.

A      Another reader asked, do they have parents in the Core?

S     Not in the way humans have parents. When we arrive at the Core, we’re assigned people to train us. They are the energies’ equivalent of parents.

A     I see. I’ve one last question for you, and I’m thinking it might be another hard to answer one. What’s the strangest thing about being a human?

S     Actually, that’s an easy one. Having a body, arms, legs etc. In the Core we don’t have one so even though I’ve been in the human realm for months now, I’m still in awe of my body and what it can do.

A     I’ve never thought about it like that before. Well, that’s it for today. Thanks, so much Sketch for sharing your thoughts with us. We’re all excited to find out what happens next to you in our world.

S     You’re so welcome. Thanks, Anj and don’t forget #sausagelove
