I’m delighted to have been invited to speak at Sunday Assembly in London on Sunday 3rd March. The theme is ‘There’s more to reading than words’, which gives me an ideal opportunity to talk about why reading and books are such an important part of my life. As well as being a writer, I’ll be speaking about my job at Shannon Trust and the importance of unlocking the power of reading for people in prison.

Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that celebrates life and encourages us all to live better, help often and wonder more. And, there’s poetry, singing and lashing of tea and biscuits at the end.

Come along! I’d love to meet you.
